INDIANAPOLIS — In the most surprising upset in football history, Tim Tebow scored a last minute touchdown to beat the Giants and Patriots in Super Bowl XLVI.
Fans and players were stunned at Tebow’s last minute heroics. Coach Bill Belichick said, “I couldn’t believe my eyes, it’s like he came out of nowhere, scored a few touchdowns and then next thing I know he’s holding the Super Bowl trophy.”
Tom Brady of the New England Patriots said, “I realized that we were going to lose if we didn’t work together. So I talked to the Giants defense, and we threw both of our teams to defend Tebow at the same time. In total there were 54 defensive players on the field. I’m not sure what the rules on that are, but he still got the W.”
New York Giants quarterback Eli Manning said, “I even called my brother Peyton to help out. At one point in the games we had three quarterbacks. But it never mattered, Tim Tebow found a way to win.”
Coach Tom Coughlin angrily made a public complaint to commissioner Roger Goodell saying that “Tebow’s team never won, and he shouldn’t have been anywhere near the field.” In response, Goodell released this public statement:
“In accordance with the National Football League’s rule of play, article #146.87, it clearly states that no losing team is allowed to play in the Super Bowl. The emphasis is on team. There are no rules that disqualify an individual NFL player from the Super Bowl…especially one as awesome at Tim Tebow.”
In a related story, Dorothy Jameson, age 87 of Reno, NV won $287 million when she bet on Tebow winning the Super Bowl despite the odds of 1,234,663,678 to 1 against him. When asked about her analysis, she replied, “He’s just such a sweet young man. I just knew he was going to win.”All photos and content used by Milk the Bull meet all legal and copyright approval.
