SHAUMBURG, Ill. — “Haters gonna hate”, was the opening statement at Tuesday’s conference call held by transgender MMA fighter Fox Fallon. Fallon, who was born a man, underwent gender reassignment surgery five years ago and lives her life today as a woman. This scenario is not so uncommon today, but what makes Fallon’s story uniquely controversial is that she competes in physical combat with other women.
Many questions have been raised as to whether Fallon is competing on a level playing field. “Does the fact I was born a man give me a competitive edge over these chicks? You’re damn right it does.” Fallon laughed. “Growing up I was never good at sports and I wasn’t particularly tough. Then I decided to chop off the old Boo Radley’s and butterfly my donger. Now I could be a world champion.”
Although doctors and the Florida State Boxers Commission (where Fallon is seeking license) all agree that Fallon is medically considered a woman and violating no specific rules, universal consensus is that what she is doing is “kind of bullshit”. Undeterred by critics, Fallon closed the media call with, “If I were still a dude I’d tell you all to suck it. Now I’m a lady, so I’m just going keep beating the hell out of these chicks and you’ll just have to deal with it.”
